Easy Maintenance and Serviceability
Daily checks are simple. The wide-opening engine cover and gas-lift side cover provide quick access to components. Sight gauges are positioned at ground level for easy inspection, while ground-level fuel filling saves time. The factory-installed, filtered electric refuelling pump includes an automatic cut-off to prevent spills.
The TB285 also comes with automatic track tensioning, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This ensures the tracks stay at the right tension, extends component life, and avoids problems caused by mud buildup.
Comfortable and Spacious Cabin
Operators benefit from a full-sized, ROPS/FOPS II-certified cabin that offers plenty of space. The dozer blade includes a “float” function, which helps achieve a smooth finish. For additional protection during sleeper grab work, an optional front guard is available.

The compact tailswing design is another highlight. With just 550 mm of counterweight overhang, the TB285 balances stability and accessibility. This design improves serviceability and prevents engine bay overheating in harsh conditions.
Performance and Transportability
The TB285 has an operating mass of about 8.6 tonnes when fitted with steel tracks, rubber shoes, and auxiliary hydraulics. Its overall width of 2,200 mm makes it easy to transport, while the 49.6 kW Yanmar diesel engine delivers strong performance.
Auxiliary hydraulics are optimized for tiltrotators, tampers, and grabs. The Semco-spec model includes HiFlow plus a second auxiliary circuit with progressive controls for precision. The main auxiliary circuit has three selectable outputs, and the second auxiliary has one.
Flexible Configurations
Ex-factory, you can choose different stick lengths or a two-piece boom. The two-piece boom operates independently or together with the main boom, allowing work beneath overhead structures and improving reach around track frames.
