A Machine Built for Real-World Conditions
Contractors need equipment that combines power, manoeuvrability, low emissions, and operator comfort. The Takeuchi TB2150 delivers on all these points. Unlike many machines that struggle on tight or difficult sites, this excavatorโs design makes it easier to handle demanding jobs without compromise.
Swinging Boom for Precision
One standout feature of the TB2150 swinging excavator is its heavy-duty swivel mechanism. The solid steel casting gives precise control of the boom, allowing it to swing left or right while the cabin remains steady. This setup keeps the operator focused on the task, improving accuracy and reducing strain.
Although it is a โmidiโ class machine, its engineering quality rivals much larger excavators. The boom, stick, and bucket all respond with the stability and control youโd expect from higher-capacity models.
Safety and Easy Servicing
From an operatorโs perspective, safety and service access matter. The handrail is positioned for secure entry onto the upper deck. At the same time, the machine allows for ground-level servicing, reducing the risks of climbing.
Operator Comfort and Visibility
Inside, the TB2150 features an all-new cabin designed for comfort and visibility. Operators get an unobstructed view of the work zone without constant repositioning. At the rear, a rounded counterweight shape further improves sightlines.
The machine also introduces a new console display. It integrates a rear camera and shows hydraulic flow and pressure adjustments. Operators can set hydraulic flow for specific attachments, and the system stores these settings for fast reuse.
Strong and Quiet Performance
The TB2150 runs on a quiet yet powerful Deutz TCD 3.6 L4 engine. Rated at Stage IV/T4 Final with 85 kW output, it provides the muscle needed for heavy digging. With a digging depth of 5,445 mm and maximum reach of 8,760 mm, it handles large tasks while staying efficient.
Designed for Versatility
This 16-tonne machine includes three sets of auxiliary service piping. Two have modulated proportional control, while the main line is programmable for both flow and relief pressure. This flexibility allows operators to switch between tools and attachments with ease.
Itโs rare to see all these features packed into a Class 15, sub-2,500 mm excavator. Yet, the TB2150 proves it can combine power, safety, and operator comfort in one compact package.
